AstoncarterJob Title: Timekeeping Specialist Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Timekeeping Specialist responsible for managing leave decisions and accurately coding timecards using Oracle. This role involves handling leave and disability pay codes, making historical corrections, and managing multiple payroll spreadsheets with proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities Enter leave codes accurately into Oracle. Manage and update timecards for employees on leave. Handle 16-150 leave requests per day. Process approximately 800 timecards bi-weekly with a team of three. Edit and correct timecards, including manual entry of edits such as PTO hour adjustments. Serve as a backup for the billing administrator. Send insurance invoices to team members on leave. Create invoices and provide guidance for payments through Cybersource. Essential Skills Experience in payroll and timekeeping. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with benefits payments during employee leave. Ability to manually code and adjust timecards. Availability to come onsite 2-3 times a week post-training. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with UKG. Familiarity with Oracle. Work Environment This is a hybrid role requiring onsite training for 2-3 weeks, followed by remote work. Post-training, you will need to be onsite 1-2 days a week. The role involves working with a team in a collaborative setting, focusing on timekeeping and payroll management. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
