Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and technically inclined Interns / Trainees / Level 1 engineers to join our IT Operations team, focusing on Apache Tomcat Administration and Data Operations (DataOps). The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of IT infrastructure, application servers, databases, and Linux environments, along with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic Apache Tomcat administration, including application deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
• Support routine Linux server operations and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor application availability, server health, and application logs.
• Assist in monitoring data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and batch processing.
• Perform basic SQL queries for data validation and verification.
• Support incident management, troubleshooting, and operational documentation.
• Work with senior engineers to understand and resolve application and data-related issues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational best practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and commands.
• Fundamental knowledge of Apache Tomcat, Java web applications, and WAR file deployment concepts.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data processing.
• Awareness of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data validation.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and ports.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
