Trade Finance Specialist / Trade Operations Analyst

Role Description The Owner (Part-Time, Remote) will oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of Don't Work There. This includes defining the platform’s vision, managing content priorities, and ensuring alignment with the mission of improving awareness of job market issues. Day-to-day tasks may involve coordinating with contributors, reviewing and approving content, engaging with the community, and identifying partnerships that support the platform’s growth. The Owner will also handle basic administrative tasks, monitor performance metrics, and make data-informed decisions about future initiatives. All responsibilities can be performed remotely with flexible hours.

• Strategic leadership and decision-making skills to guide the platform’s vision and growth.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for content review, stakeholder coordination, and community engagement.
• Organizational and time management skills to handle part-time responsibilities across multiple initiatives.
• Basic digital literacy, including familiarity with online platforms, content management tools, and social media.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Interest or experience in labor issues, workplace rights, or the Egyptian job market is highly beneficial.
• Prior experience in project management, community building, or running an online initiative is a plus.
