Trade-in Desk Team Leader (all genders)Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Play a key role in securing high-quality inflow for Circular Equipment and Parts Recovery by managing all Trade-In Requests (TIRs) for the International Region and China. You will ensure trade-in processes run efficiently, compliantly, and with excellent service for Sales, Order Management, Circular Economy (CE) teams, and broker partners.
This role directly supports Philips' circularity ambitions through take-back, reuse, responsible end-of-use execution, and return flows that feed both the Circular Edition portfolio and parts recovery pipelines.
Your role:
Sales Support & Opportunity Building
- Identify potential trade-in opportunities and proactively engage Sales teams to create Trade-In Requests (TIRs).
- Support CTL target achievement by driving early trade-in creation and closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Account Managers, Account Managers, Sales Specialists, and indirect partners.
- Maintain a pipeline of upcoming equipment replacement opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Support the DXR Trade-In process and contribute to business growth through effective trade-in management.
Operations & Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional service to Sales teams, Back Office teams, Circular Economy colleagues, and broker partners.
- Monitor pending removals and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, blockers, and customer concerns in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure efficient coordination across stakeholders to maintain smooth operational execution.
Process Excellence & Governance
- Manage high volumes of trade-in transactions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process integrity.
- Provide support and training on Trade-In Request creation and maintenance processes.
- Apply Lean principles to identify and implement continuous improvements.
- Act as the Trade-In Desk lead and first point of contact for trade-in-related questions and escalations, working closely with the Circular CoE.
- Demonstrate Philips Leadership Competencies and the 5 Behaviors in daily work.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the Trade-In Desk team, creating a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance environment.
- Set clear objectives and expectations, regularly review individual and team performance, and provide timely coaching and feedback.
- Manage work allocation, priorities, and team capacity to ensure appropriate coverage and timely execution of Trade-In activities.
- Build team capabilities through continuous learning, knowledge sharing, cross-training, and development planning.
- Represent the Trade-In Desk team in cross-functional discussions and act as an escalation point for operational, stakeholder, and team-related topics.

- You have experience in customer service, order management, sales support, supply chain coordination, or a similar operational environment.
- You are comfortable working with CRM systems such as Salesforce (SFDC) and managing large volumes of transactions.
- You have strong stakeholder management skills and can effectively collaborate with Sales, Operations, Brokers, and Circular Economy teams.
- You possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- You are detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality, process compliance, and operational excellence.
- You can work effectively under pressure and prioritize competing demands.
- You demonstrate a customer-first mindset and ownership mentality.
- You are collaborative, adaptable, and aligned with Philips Leadership Behaviors.
Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The annual base salary range for this role is 99,830 PLN – 165,390 PLN. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience, and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
This role is eligible for an annual incentive, with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
