About The INKEY List

At The INKEY List, we believe skincare should be simple. We make science easier to understand, so everyone can make informed choices about their skin.

Since launching in 2018, we've challenged the industry by putting education, honesty and efficacy first. We listen to our community, create products backed by science and never overcomplicate what should be simple.

We Give A Care. About our customers, our community and the people who make The INKEY List what it is. We know our best work happens when people feel supported, trusted and able to be themselves.

About the role

As Trade Marketing Executive, you’ll support regional marketing activations and campaigns that promote the brand and help drive sales across EMEA and APAC. Reporting to the Global VP of Wholesale and working alongside the EMEA sales team, you’ll help deliver activity across a large retailer portfolio.

You’ll coordinate projects with teams across the business and external agencies, using strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills to keep activity on track.

Every role at The INKEY List contributes to making skincare simple, more accessible and more effective. This one is no different.

What you’ll be doing

1.Trade Marketing Planning & Campaign Delivery

  • Support trade marketing plans and co-op budgets agreed with the sales team to help achieve commercial goals.
  • Coordinate retailer-specific campaigns, including in-store activations, point-of-sale materials and online retailer content.
  • Keep retailer content up to date, monitoring brand and product pages on retailer ecommerce sites.
  • Align activity with promotional calendars and product launches, working with Sales, Brand and Social teams.

2. Retailer Relationships & Event Support

  • Support the Visual Merchandising teams in delivering retailer events, conferences, in-person training, in-store pop-ups and head office events.
  • Coordinate assets, mailers and products for retailers to support organic visibility and relationships with retail social teams.
  • Act as a point of contact for retailers, distributors and suppliers on trade marketing needs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and external agencies to keep campaigns and projects on track.

3. Budget Administration & Competitor Insights

  • Support the Marketing Manager with budget tracking, raising purchase orders and reconciling spend.
  • Track competitor trade marketing activity and product launches, sharing relevant insights with the wider team.

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in the person as much as the experience.

You’ll likely have:

  • Previous marketing experience, preferably within beauty or skincare.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is preferred.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach, working effectively with cross-functional teams and external contacts.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and a positive approach to getting things done.
  • A genuine interest in beauty and skincare.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, including creating presentations in PowerPoint.

You don't need to tick every box. If you're excited about the role and think you could be a great fit, we'd encourage you to apply.

What success looks like

  • Well-executed retailer activity – Campaigns, assets and events are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Up-to-date retailer content – Brand and product pages reflect agreed launches and promotional activity.
  • Clear budget administration – Purchase orders and spend records are accurate and kept up to date.
  • Effective coordination – Internal teams and external partners have the information and materials they need.

What you'll get from us

We're committed to creating an environment where everyone can do their best work.

Alongside a competitive salary, we offer:

  • Hybrid working – giving you the flexibility to balance work and life in a way that works for you.
  • Private medical insurance through Vitality
  • An Employee Assistance Programme
  • Enhanced family policies & support
  • Life Assurance – giving you extra peace of mind.
  • 25 days' holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Your birthday off – celebrate your day, your way.
  • Monthly product allowance – so you can enjoy and experience the products you help bring to life.
  • Cycle to Work and Electric Car schemes
  • Regular team days and a dog-friendly office – because great work happens when people connect (and we're always happy to see four-legged colleagues too!)

Most importantly, you'll join a team that cares deeply, makes things happen and does it together.

Our commitment

At The INKEY List, we know different perspectives make us stronger. We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome, respected and able to do their best work.

If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know, we're happy to help.
