ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for an experienced Trader to source, buy and sell petroleum, petrochemical and polymer products. You'll own deals end to end, from finding counterparties and negotiating prices to closing contracts and coordinating execution with operations, logistics and finance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage buyer and supplier networks for petroleum products (diesel/gasoil, fuel oil, base oil, bitumen, naphtha, etc.), petrochemicals, LPG/gas and polymers (PP, PE, PVC, PET and similar)

• Originate, negotiate and close physical sale and purchase deals (spot and term) • Negotiate contract terms: Incoterms, quality/quantity specs, inspection, payment terms (LC, SBLC, TT, open account)

• Coordinate with operations on shipping, vessel nomination, storage, inspection and documentation

• Work with finance/trade finance on LCs, credit limits and payment security

• Monitor market trends, freight, supply/demand and competitor activity, and share market updates

• Ensure all counterparties pass KYC and sanctions screening before dealing

• Maintain the deal pipeline, position reports and P&L per trade

• Travel to meet clients and suppliers as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Petroleum/Chemical or related field • 5–10+ years of physical trading experience in petroleum, petrochemicals, gas or polymers

• Established network of buyers, refineries, producers and traders in the region • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, product specifications and pricing benchmarks

• Working knowledge of LCs, UCP 600 and trade documentation

• Strong negotiation, commercial and relationship-building skills

• Proficient in MS Excel and Office
