Role Description This is a full-time Trainee Financial Advisor role based in Clonee with a hybrid working model, allowing some work from home. The Trainee Financial Advisor will support senior advisors in providing financial guidance to clients, including preparing reports, developing financial plans, and helping assess client needs and goals.


Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting or calling clients under supervision, gathering and analyzing financial information, assisting with pension and retirement planning reviews, and supporting investment and protection product recommendations. The role also involves maintaining accurate client records, staying up to date with relevant regulations and market developments, and contributing to a high standard of client service. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to support progression toward a fully qualified advisory role.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in Financial Planning and Finance, with the ability to interpret and work with financial information.
  • Capability in Retirement Planning, including understanding pensions, public sector schemes, and long-term income planning.
  • Foundational knowledge or strong aptitude for Investments and related financial products.
  • Motivation to develop Financial Advisory skills, including client consultation and solution-based advice.
  • Relevant academic background (e.g., finance, economics, business) or equivalent experience is an advantage.
  • Progress toward or willingness to obtain relevant industry qualifications or certifications.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and integrity.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment, with a client-focused mindset.
