  1. Job Summary
The Trainee Site Coordinator will support the successful execution of construction, rental, and site overlay projects by assisting with daily site coordination, logistics, documentation, and operational activities under the guidance of experienced Site Coordinators and Project Managers. As part of the Bachelor of Al Laith Talent Development Program, this structured 6-12 month training role provides hands-on exposure across EPC Projects, PMV (Plant, Machinery & Vehicles) Rentals, and Site Overlay departments, equipping trainees with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required for a future Junior Site Coordinator role. The role requires a proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to support business requirements across various project sites in the UAE.
You will act as a proactive team member, assisting with logistics, documentation, inspections, and coordination under supervision, while developing the competencies required to transition to a Junior Site Coordinator role.
  1. Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support daily site operations, ensuring activities are completed efficiently under the supervision of Site Coordinators and Project Managers.
  • Assist in coordinating material deliveries, equipment allocation, workforce scheduling, and site logistics to support project requirements.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and monitor compliance with company safety policies, QHSE standards, and project procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including reports, logs, checklists, and project records using Google Workspace and other company systems.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project teams, subcontractors, operators, suppliers, and clients while escalating issues to supervisors when required.
  • Participate in site meetings, toolbox talks, equipment inspections, inventory tracking, and operator support activities.
  • Identify, report, and assist in resolving routine site issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Support project execution across EPC Projects, PMV Rentals, and Site Overlay operations based on business requirements and assigned rotations.
  • Assist with yard operations and other operational activities as required to support project delivery.
  • Actively participate in the 6-12 month Talent Development Program by completing assigned rotations, technical training, competency assessments, and development activities.
  1. Qualifications and Experience:
  • Educational background or exposure in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience through internships, graduate programs, or entry-level roles within construction, logistics, events, or equipment rental industries is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career within the construction, temporary structures, or plant and machinery rental industry.
  • Basic understanding of construction site operations, safety practices, or logistics is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and basic digital tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • UAE driving license is an advantage, with willingness to travel between project sites across the UAE.
  • Basic construction safety certification is advantageous.

  1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
This trainee appointment forms part of the Bachelor of Al Laith Talent Development program and is intended as a structured developmental role with a duration of six (6) to twelve (12) months. The program is designed to provide practical experience, technical training, and competency development to prepare the trainee for future opportunities within the Company. Participation in the program does not constitute a guarantee of promotion or permanent placement into a Junior Site Coordinator role. Progress and continuation within the program may be reviewed, amended, extended, or concluded at the discretion of the Company based on business requirements and individual performance.
