Trainee Occupational Health Case Manager (Home-based UK)

Our Academy Programme is your route into remote case management and Occupational Health — no prior OH experience needed, just the drive to retrain and learn new skills.

You'll be paired with our team of expert Occupational Health Advisors, who'll give you real world clinical training, real case management exposure, and the mentorship you need to build genuine confidence and competence in this specialist field. No two days are the same, it is a rewarding and interesting role that provides a great work/life balance.

Once You Have Completed Your Training You Will Be

  • Delivering evidence-based case management for referrals on attendance, fitness for work, and wider Occupational Health issues
  • Writing clear, professional reports that genuinely support employee wellbeing and business decision-making
  • Advising on OH legislation and best practice, helping create healthier, more compliant workplaces

What You'll Bring

  • NMC or HCPC registration
  • A qualification in Nursing (including Mental Health), Physiotherapy, or Occupational Therapy
  • At least 2 years' post-registration experience
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Bonus points for previous homebased clinical experience

Ideally have previous experience working in a clinical homebased role.

Hours

For the first 8 weeks you need to work full time and then you can reduce your hours (Minimum 3 days a week)

Key Dates

  • Closing date: Friday 4th September
  • Initial interviews: Will be held between Tuesday 1st September and Friday 18th September
  • Final face-to-face interviews: Tuesday 6th October in Birmingham
  • Academy start date Monday 8th February

Location:

For the first two days (Monday 8th February and Tuesday 9th February) it is mandatory that you attend the in person training sessions in Birmingham, travel and accommodation costs will be covered. The remainder of the training program will be delivered remotely via Teams.

Salary

The starting salary for this position is £36,000 per annum
