About the Job

One of the world's largest captive IT shared service providers is reshaping how it operates — and AI is central to that shift. The Strategy & Transformation Office, based in the CEO area, is where this transformation is planned and delivered. As Transformation Manager, you will own the end-to-end execution of initiatives within our transformation portfolio: translating strategy into action, securing commitment across the organization, and ensuring the value we promise is the value we deliver.

This is a role with direct line of sight to senior leadership. You will report functionally to the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer (CSTO), operate with visibility up to the Executive Management Team, and — depending on the assignment — work directly from the Transformation Office or embedded within a business function. The scope and number of initiatives you own will evolve as the portfolio evolves, giving you room to grow with the role rather than operate within a fixed job description.

What you do

  • Own delivery outcomes, not just delivery plans. Take initiatives from initial mandate through to stabilization — on time, on budget, with benefits that are actually realized, not just projected.
  • Translate ambiguity into an executable plan. Define scope, milestones, dependencies, and delivery model for initiatives that often start underspecified.
  • Make governance work, not just exist. Run steering committees and working sessions that produce real decisions; prepare materials sponsors can act on; surface risks and issues early enough that they remain manageable.
  • Be accountable for the numbers. Define and track KPIs/OKRs and benefits-realization plans; report progress and value to senior leadership and the EMT in terms they can use.
  • Manage risk and interdependency. Flag early, propose mitigations, and keep documentation audit-ready — across a portfolio, not just within one workstream.
  • Align execution with target architecture and cross-initiative sequencing. Coordinate closely with the stakeholders who own adjacent pieces of the puzzle.
  • Lead change, not just announce it. Plan and execute the communication, training, and adoption work that determines whether a transformation actually sticks.
  • Own your budget and resourcing — With full transparency on spend, forecast, and value delivered.
  • Shape how AI is applied in practice. Across the transformation portfolio — not as a side interest, but as part of how you approach delivery and economics.
  • Contribute beyond your own initiatives. To the broader strategy-execution agenda of the Transformation Office, including portfolio-level analysis and the evolution of our transformation methodology.

What you bring

  • 5+ years leading complex transformation or large-scale change initiatives in technology or operations
  • A genuine end-to-end delivery track record — you have taken something from mandate to measurable outcome, using Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid of both
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment without relying on formal authority
  • Solid financial and analytical skills — you can build a business case, track value, and make decisions on data rather than instinct
  • Fluent English; working knowledge of AI technologies and a real interest in how AI is changing IT delivery and economics
  • A degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, IT Management, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience

We'd also be glad if you bring

  • Experience in consulting, financial services, or multinational organizations
  • Governance design experience and a PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification
  • German language skills
  • Experience with crisis and escalation management, and familiarity with European regulatory expectations
  • Change management and adoption-planning experience in multi-country environments

What we offer

  • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.
  • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).
  • From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.
  • Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.
