Job Summary:

The Transplant Assistant (TA) is responsible for coordinating transplant and non-transplant referrals, appointments, evaluations, and other testing in collaboration with the transplant coordinators and managers within the center. The TA is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED - Required.

• Experience in registration or patient care in a hospital or physician office setting - Preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology - Required.

• Proficiency in computer software (Word, email, and EHR) and customer service experience - Preferred.
