Sellpy's vision is to empower everyone to live circularly. We believe that every item deserves a second life, and we see huge financial, social and environmental value in making sure this happens. We look for those who share this vision and have the grit to tackle the challenges of building a circular future.

Transport & Logistics Manager, Expansion Markets at Sellpy

Can you move 11 million items to millions of people across Europe, fast and affordably enough that second hand becomes the first hand choice? As Transport & Logistics Manager for our Expansion markets, you own the first and last mile of Sellpy's flows in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, France as well as our .com site serving another 13 European markets. In practice, this means you find the right carriers, negotiate contracts, support implementation and optimise relentlessly to make sure deliveries are reliable, cheap and a great experience for our customers.

You will report to the General Manager for Expansion Markets and work closely with the local markets, customer support, our warehouse and product teams, as well as external partners such as delivery companies.

In short, you will

  • Own the first and last mile of our flows: shipping a Sellpy bag to our sellers, receiving a filled Sellpy bag back to our warehouse, delivering an order to our buyer, and receiving returns and claims back to us

  • Find and evaluate delivery partners and local carriers in each market, negotiate contracts and pricing

  • Follow up on performance and cost developments with carriers and partners

  • Continuously optimise flows to improve delivery speed, reliability and customer satisfaction while lowering cost per shipment and strengthening our bottom line

  • Dig into the data: analyse delivery times, costs, delivery fees, claims and more to find the next improvement and prove its impact

  • Work closely with our local customer support team to solve arising issues and improve the customer experience

  • Support new carrier implementation together with warehouse, product and market teams

We use

BigQuery, Redash and Google Sheets for analysis.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in a relevant field, or a shorter related education with a couple of years of work experience

  • Experience in transport, logistics, supply chain or e-commerce delivery, ideally with parcel carriers

  • A data-driven mindset and a love of detail: you are comfortable in spreadsheets and SQL-style analysis and want to understand what drives every cost and delay

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder skills, with the ability to work with external partners as well as internal teams across several markets

  • A hands-on, structured way of working, and the drive to take ownership and get things implemented

  • Written and spoken fluency in English, as this is our company language

We'd be impressed if you have

  • Experience negotiating carrier or 3PL contracts

  • Knowledge of one or more of our Expansion markets and their local carrier landscape, or additional European languages (e.g. Polish, Czech, Romanian or French)

  • Worked in a fast-growing, product-focused startup environment

You get to

  • Be part of a tech-minded company that's driving the change towards a sustainable lifestyle. In return, you will get direction, energy, and work on meaningful challenges daily.

  • Work with highly skilled and motivated colleagues

  • Gain new skills with unlimited access to a learning platform

  • 30 days of vacation

  • Enjoy Sellpy credits and staff discounts at Sellpy and the H&M brands (Arket, COS, Other Stories, Weekday and more).

  • Engagement in Sellpy's social traditions with game nights, interactive planning days, guest speakers and other activities.
