Description
At Toole Design, our multidisciplinary teams are creating safer and more accessible streets, trails, parks, civic spaces, and mobility options, as well as programs that help people access these networks. Our Transportation Demand Management Practice makes it easier and more inviting for people to get around using sustainable travel options like biking, walking, transit, micromobility, and carpooling. We are looking for a TDM Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Silver Spring, MD, someone who’s excited to deliver impactful mobility programs that reflect our mission and values.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
We are an employee-owned, purpose-driven team of engineers, planners, landscape architects, and urban designers who believe streets and public spaces should work for everyone. At Toole Design, you'll work alongside thought leaders and industry experts who are committed to mentoring and helping you grow your expertise. We offer:
- A collaborative, inclusive culture that supports your growth and advancement
- A hybrid work schedule
- 8 paid holidays; and 16 days of PTO accrued annually
- Competitive salary, excellent benefits, and transportation perks: Benefits and Support
- Projects and programs that truly improve lives through safe, inclusive design and implementation, rooted in ethics, empathy, and equity
- Employee-ownership, so we all share in the success we build together—and the financial security that comes with it
What You’ll Do
Love connecting people with better ways to get around? As our TDM Outreach Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to partner for workplaces, apartment communities, commercial buildings, schools, and hotels, helping their people get where they need to go by transit, bike, foot, carpool, or vanpool. You’ll find and win over new partners through networking, outreach, and the occasional cold call. You’ll help employers set up commuter benefits and get their teams registered for programs like Guaranteed Ride Home, transit incentives, and vanpool. You’ll staff tabling events, resource fairs, and info sessions, and rally partners around big moments like Bike to Work Day. Along the way, you’ll track your relationships in CRM software, help commuters troubleshoot app-based incentive programs, and support surveys that show what’s working. If you bring a knack for customer service, a little sales savvy, and a passion for sustainable transportation, we’d love to meet you.
Location: This is a hybrid in-office/work-from-home position, based out of our Silver Spring, Maryland Headquarters Office. Program work will likely require being on-site in Arlington, VA with additional local travel to partner sites and availability for occasional evening and weekend meetings in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.
Join Us. Make an Impact. If you’re ready to do meaningful work as part of a supportive, talented team—apply today.
We are targeting a salary range of $68,000 to $73,000 for this position.
