Job Description - Trauma Registrar - Pediatric Trauma (240002DU) Job Description Trauma Registrar - Pediatric Trauma - ( 240002DU ) Description Job Summary Accurately performs data collection and data entry of trauma patients. Maintains trauma registry (Lancet’s Trauma One). Performs ICD-9 coding, E-codes and injury scaling on all trauma patients included in the trauma registry. Participates in report generation internally and externally as mandated by regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Completion of course of study Coding, which includes ICD-9-CM/CPT-7, medical technology and anatomy. Prefer completion of Trauma registry course and AAAM AIS course. Prefer one (1) year of experience in healthcare environment. Sufficient analytical skills to apply comprehensive registry management. Must be CSTR certified with CAISS certification within 2 years of hire.
