Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with strong expertise in both leisure and corporate travel . This is a client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers exceptional customer service, and confidently manages the complete travel booking process from initial enquiry through to ticketing and post-travel support. The successful candidate will have extensive experience using Sabre GDS , excellent airfare knowledge, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products and services. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding travel experiences. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with leisure and corporate clients. Provide tailored travel recommendations based on each client's needs, preferences, and budget. Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and other communication channels. Proactively follow up with clients before, during, and after travel to ensure a seamless experience and encourage repeat business. Sales & Booking Management Manage travel enquiries from initial consultation through to confirmed bookings. Prepare accurate, competitive, and customized travel quotations. Coordinate complete travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, car hire, travel insurance, and other travel services. Manage booking amendments, cancellations, exchanges, refunds, and reissues efficiently. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional travel products and services. Meet individual and team sales targets while maintaining exceptional service standards. Airfare & Ticketing Search, price, book, and issue domestic and international airfares using Sabre GDS . Apply strong knowledge of fare rules, ticketing deadlines, exchanges, and refund procedures. Recommend the most suitable routing and fare options based on client requirements. Groups & Corporate Travel Coordinate group, conference, and corporate travel arrangements from enquiry through completion. Negotiate hotel rates and supplier agreements to secure the best value for clients. Liaise with travel suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery. Systems & Administration Utilize Sabre GDS , Tramada , and supplier booking platforms efficiently. Maintain accurate client records, booking notes, and travel documentation. Ensure booking files are complete, accurate, and compliant with company procedures. Product & Industry Knowledge Stay current with destinations, airlines, hotels, cruises, tours, and industry developments. Promote preferred suppliers, special offers, and exclusive travel products where appropriate. Participate in ongoing learning to maintain strong product and destination knowledge. Part-time role: 3 hours per day (15 hours per week)
