Position: Travel Team Manager

The role of the Travel Team Manager is key to operational performance and outcomes for the Monogram Health Travel APPs. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Travel APPs as they travel nationwide to support market operations. In collaboration with the Travel Team Physician Executive, this person will oversee all aspects of the people, process and systems that support patient engagement, the delivery of care, and talent for the Travel Team.

The Travel Team Manager will operate in a heavily matrixed organization to help lead a profitable business segment for Monogram Health. Reporting to the VP, Operations, this position will be charged with achieving company organizational key results and key performance indicators. The Travel Team Manager will work closely with regional/market and centralized clinical and operations leaders to deliver quality patient care and overall patient and staff experience. The successful candidate will champion change, implement strategic priorities, optimize operations, deliver results, and drive great culture. This position is remote but may require some travel for company functions.

Responsibilities

  • Direct administrative supervision of Travel Team operations.
  • Coordinate travel assignments with market leaders to optimize Travel APP support for Market Operations.
  • Accountable for staff capacity, productivity, and quality.
  • Manage scheduling efforts to ensure maximum utilization of Travel APPs in their day-to-day schedules.
  • Management and oversight for scheduling system, processes, and performance.
  • Alongside their physician counterpart, lead daily, weekly and monthly meetings with the team to provide education and drive better performance.
  • Develop reports, conduct data analysis, and determine root cause on team KPIs and trends to guide performance.
  • Function as primary lead for clinical operations between market, region, and centralized cross functional stakeholders.
  • In collaboration with the Travel Team physician and clinical operations, ensure the integrity, timelines, and quality of clinical documentation in Monogram Health’s EMRs.
  • Manage, monitor, and report compliance risks/issues/concerns of the market, staff and delivery of care.
  • Accountable for patient experience (NPS).
  • Support talent acquisition, interviewing and hiring of clinical and operations team members.
  • Onboard, train and support the development path for field-based team members.
  • Manage licensing and credentialing needs for multi-state licensed Travel APPs.

Position Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience required; MBA, MHA, or similar degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience working in managed care or delegated risk partnerships.
  • Experience supervising nurse practitioners.
  • Experience partnering with physicians to drive results.
  • Proven accountability for performance and driving results.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a large volume of concurrent priorities.
  • Comfortable using, interpreting and drawing conclusions from large data sets.
  • Demonstrated verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Care Management Platform experience required.
  • Experience managing a high-risk patient population and leading clinical staff in care management, managed care, and/or home health environment is preferred.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to $158,000 and reflects the range of experience and qualifications we may consider. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location and job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and internal compensation considerations. While a larger range is posted, most offers will typically fall within a narrower band based on these factors.
