Treasury Analyst II - FINRA The Treasury Analyst II Registered supports the cash management and liquidity strategy of the enterprise by performing treasury activities in an accurate and timely manner. Working independently under general supervision, this job performs and reviews cash flow monitoring and reporting as well as financial transaction and status reporting. This job also supports the financial risk management department in the collection, validation and maintenance of data needed to perform financial analysis as required by corporate policies. Key Responsibilities and Duties Analyzes and interprets financial data, modeling forward-looking cash flows, and developing cash management, investment, and risk mitigation strategies that support execution of the company’s liquidity management strategy and stress testing process. Compiles, analyzes and presents data to help Treasurer and management team understand implications of current economic environment to ongoing treasury operations. Manages daily flow of funds and transactions (e.g., daily cash requirements, cash receipts and payments, financial obligations, debt covenants, investment closings, etc.) to execute the company’s global cash management strategy. Responsible for supporting the company’s technology and banking strategy including evaluation of new systems, products, and services; ensuring efficient banking structures and accurate maintenance of accounts to support global operations with direct responsibility for management of the department’s governance program requirements associated with cash and banking. Prepares daily cash and liquidity management related activities, including required reports, metrics, and ad hoc cash and liquidity management analysis, support the preparation of the long-term liquidity forecast, and provides daily support for Corporate Treasury deliverables and reports, including excess/shortfall cash positions to short term traders, bank deposit allocations, or borrowing recommendations to Corporate Treasury Management for approval and coordinates with the organization’s chief investment office to execute and manage daily activities that achieve the objectives of the company’s spread lending program. Supports management decision process by analyzing data, modeling forward-looking forecasts, performing liquidity stress tests, ensuring daily cash transactions are recorded, and preparing monthly / quarterly reports for management, short-term liquidity position, and gap reporting, as well as analysis and reports on the management of credit and interest rate exposure. Manages cash and banking requirements that support the strategic initiatives of the organization’s subsidiary companies ensuring compliance with the Treasury department’s governance program. Specifies, builds, maintains, and supports various systems implementation projects to ensure proper function of treasury management systems while maintaining various treasury databases to ensure databases are current and accurate.
