About MARI Group
MARI is a global events and experiences company powering world-defining live experiences. Our portfolio of
premium live properties spans sports, art, and entertainment — including the Madrid and Miami Open
tennis tournaments, Frieze (a leading voice in contemporary art), and Barrett-Jackson (the premium U.S.
collector car auction company). MARI also includes TodayTix Group, the global e-commerce leader for
cultural experiences, connecting millions of customers with the best in live entertainment.
MARI is reshaping the live events landscape — building a growing portfolio of category-defining events and
brands that set the standard for what's next, across sports, entertainment, art, and lifestyle.
At MARI, you'll work alongside people who are passionate, curious, and driven — people who believe that
live experiences have the power to shape culture, and who care about the work, the mission, and each
other. We welcome outstanding applicants of all backgrounds and encourage everyone to apply.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Treasury Manager, Cash Operations to oversee day-to-day cash and liquidity management across MARI’s global businesses. MARI is a fast paced, growing company, and our Treasury function is being built and developed alongside the business. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury, this role will take ownership of global cash operations, short-term cash forecasting, cash pooling, and intercompany reporting and settlement across multiple entities and currencies. This is a hands-on opportunity to establish scalable processes and controls and support our Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation. We are looking for someone who works independently, takes initiative and is comfortable building cash processes while keeping daily operations running smoothly.
This is a full time role and qualified candidates must be based in the Greater London Area.
You'll be part of a hybrid team that values both connection and flexibility. We'll cover the details of our hybrid schedule during the interview process.
What Success Looks Like
• Consistent visibility into global cash balances and upcoming funding needs, with timely and reliable reporting. Progress is measured against agreed targets.
• Accurate and timely intercompany reporting, reconciliations and settlements across group entities.
• Payment inquiries, bank reconciliation exceptions and other operational issues are tracked and resolved promptly.
• Entities are funded appropriately and on time, with sufficient liquidity held across currencies and entities to meet operating needs and obligations.
• Improved and documented Treasury processes and controls, including practical use of AI and automation to make reporting more accurate, efficient and scalable.
• Effective day-to-day support, prioritization and development of the Treasury Analyst.
What You’ll Own
• Oversee global daily cash positioning, liquidity management and cash forecasting.
• Own global bank account management, including opening/closing accounts, KYC, signatory updates, User Access Management, and other bank account management activities.
• Review and authorize outgoing global payments, including payment files, wires, ACH, and other disbursements, ensuring adherence to internal controls and approval frameworks.
• Support FX operations, including identifying currency funding requirements, coordinating FX transactions and settlements, and ensuring sufficient liquidity across currencies and entities.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with MARI’s banks, including service issues, account onboarding and connectivity.
• Manage the Treasury inbox, prioritize requests and coordinate payment investigations and bank reconciliation issue resolution with internal teams and banks.
• Own intercompany reporting and settlement, including tracking balances, coordinating settlements and resolving differences with Finance and Accounting.
• Improve Treasury procedures, controls and reporting, identifying opportunities to use AI and automation to streamline recurring reports, reduce manual work and improve data quality; assist with TMS implementation, banking connectivity and testing.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight for the Treasury Analyst, escalating material risks and decisions to the Senior Manager, Treasury.
• Provide coverage across time zones as needed to support global cash operations
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Treasury experience, with strong hands-on experience in cash management and treasury operations.
• Experience managing cash across multiple currencies, with a working knowledge of FX transactions, settlements and related Treasury operations.
• Experience in a fast-paced, multinational, multi-entity organization, managing multiple currencies, banking relationships and cash pooling structures.
• Strong understanding of cash forecasting, payments, banking processes and treasury controls.
• Experience using bank portals for manual payments, bank statements, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of cash data
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an evolving environment, with the judgment to prioritize competing demands, solve problems and escalate material risks appropriately.
• Hands-on experience with a SaaS Treasury Management System (TMS) and ERP, SAP S/4HANA preferred; experience supporting implementations, system testing or process improvements is preferred.
• Experience improving Treasury processes and reporting, with an interest in applying AI and automation tools to reduce manual work and increase efficiency while maintaining appropriate controls.
• Experience coaching or supervising junior team members is preferred.
• Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) certification preferred.
