Your Superpowers (aka Responsibilities) Own UI Visual Direction : Define and maintain a cohesive, high-quality style, from ideation to production. Hands-On Art Creation: Design concepts and final assets (Lobby, HUD, Power-Ups, etc.). Marketing & Live Ops Support: Produce visuals for campaigns and in-game events. Market Research & Concepts: Stay on top of trends and player preferences Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with design, dev, and product to align art with gameplay. The Ideal Hero (aka Requirements) Hands-on UI Artist: A strong individual contributor who also brings strategic visual direction to the team. UI with UX Focus: Ability to design user interfaces grounded in UX best practices. Expert in 2D Art: Solid background in UI, illustration, and concept art for mobile games. Proven Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing mobile game-related UI and visual work. Tool Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard tools such as Photoshop and Figma. Unity Knowledge: Understanding of Unity's quirks and how to optimize and implement assets accordingly Awareness: You know everything mobile game trends and visual styles, with a data-informed, player-first mindset. Ability to balance visual polish with usability, performance, and gameplay clarity. Feedback connosieur: Comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and collaborating across disciplines. Nice to have: Experience with implementing art assets in Unity Knowledge of 3D modeling and texturing tools (e.g., Blender, Maya). Understanding of UI animations (Figma, Unity).
