UI/UX Designer, AI-capable

AI is changing how interfaces get designed and what they have to do. We are looking for a UI/UX designer who is at home on both sides: AI as a tool in your own work, and AI as something users meet on the screen.

DEX is a small senior design and consulting team, part of Digitalist Group Plc, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. We design services and digital products for companies and cities, working closely with their own teams.

Our company language is English, and most of our client work happens in Finnish. Fluent Finnish and fluent English are both required for this role. Swedish is a strong plus.

What you will do

• Design interfaces and interaction for digital services, from first sketch to developer handover.
• Build working prototypes quickly with AI tools and test them with real users.
• Design how people work with AI features: what the system shows, what it asks, and how a user checks or corrects it.
• Work with our service designers and AI architects from the shaping stage of a project.

What you bring

• Several years of UI and UX design for digital services in production.
• A portfolio that shows your process as well as the finished screens.
• Experience with design systems and accessibility requirements.
• AI tools in your daily workflow, with prototypes you can demonstrate.

Where you will work

The role is based in Helsinki. Remote work is a real option, but we expect you at the Helsinki office during the first stage of your employment. We also have an office in Turku.
