UK Sports Content Manager

The Role

We are hiring a UK Sports Content Manager with strong knowledge of the UK sports landscape. You should naturally follow the major stories, fixtures and events across the sporting calendar, understand how UK audiences consume sports content and be able to turn that knowledge into timely, accurate and engaging coverage.

What you'll be doing

• Plan sports content around weekly fixtures, major tournaments and key events throughout the year.

• Identify relevant content opportunities using sports knowledge, search demand and performance data.

• Develop content plans and detailed briefs for writers.

• Edit and review content for accuracy, relevance, language and editorial fit.

• Ensure coverage demonstrates genuine knowledge of UK betting markets and the wider sporting calendar.

• Work with the SEO team to improve existing pages and identify new opportunities.

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of UK football, including the Premier League, domestic competitions and major European tournaments.

• Good knowledge of other important UK sports and events.

• Experience in sports publishing, sports betting, affiliate content or a similar editorial environment.

• Excellent written English and strong editing skills.

• Experience creating content plans and briefs and coordinating writers or freelancers.

• Knowledge of UK gambling content and compliance requirements is an advantage.
