Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced UKG Pro Consultant with strong hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing UKG Pro HCM solutions. The ideal candidate should have functional expertise across UKG Pro HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, Reporting, and related integrations.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, payroll teams, and technical teams to understand requirements, configure UKG Pro, troubleshoot issues, and deliver successful implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support UKG Pro HCM modules based on business requirements.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from HR, Payroll, Benefits, and other stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional configurations and system solutions.
• Configure UKG Pro modules, workflows, business rules, security, and employee data.
• Support UKG Pro Payroll processes, including payroll setup, calculations, deductions, taxes, and reconciliation.
• Configure and support HR, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and related UKG Pro functionality.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, extracts, and other business-critical reporting solutions.
• Support integrations between UKG Pro and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot system issues, integration failures, data issues, and configuration problems.
• Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Conduct data validation, migration, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Work with technical teams on APIs, interfaces, file-based integrations, and data exchanges.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Participate in upgrades, enhancements, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train end users and provide knowledge transfer to HR and Payroll teams.
• Work effectively with clients and stakeholders in a consulting/client-facing environment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience working with UKG Pro / UltiPro.
• Strong understanding of UKG Pro HCM functionality and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of:
• UKG Pro HR
• UKG Pro Payroll
• Benefits
• Time & Attendance
• Reporting / Analytics
• Integrations
• Experience with UKG Pro implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support.
• Strong understanding of HR and/or US Payroll processes.
• Experience with requirements gathering and functional documentation.
• Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of UKG Pro reporting and data extracts.
• Understanding of integrations, APIs, web services, and file-based interfaces.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in end-to-end UKG Pro implementation projects.
• UKG Pro certification is preferred.
• Experience integrating UKG Pro with ERP, HRIS, benefits, finance, or other third-party systems.
• Knowledge of US federal and state payroll regulations.
• Experience with UKG Pro BI/reporting tools.
• Strong Excel/data-analysis skills.
• Previous experience in a client-facing consulting role.
