Location – Fully Remote within USA

Duration : 1+ year

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced UKG Pro Tester to support quality assurance activities for UKG Pro, a Human Capital Management (HCM) platform.

The candidate will be responsible for validating system functionality, configurations, integrations, and business processes across HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, and employee lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing UKG Pro modules, preparing test scenarios, executing test cases, validating data, managing defects, and collaborating with HR, payroll, business, and technical teams to ensure high-quality system releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of UKG Pro applications.
• Test core HR functionalities, including employee onboarding, employee data management, job changes, transfers, terminations, and organizational changes.
• Validate UKG Pro Payroll functionality, including payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, and pay statements, where applicable.
• Test benefits administration, compensation management, and other configured UKG Pro modules.
• Develop test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate inbound and outbound integrations between UKG Pro and third-party systems, including benefits providers, payroll-related systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation during data migration, system upgrades, and integration testing.
• Execute regression testing for system enhancements, configuration changes, and product releases.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or other defect management tools.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with HR, payroll, business stakeholders, developers, and implementation teams.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, and testing sign-off documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software QA, functional testing, or enterprise application testing.
• Hands-on experience testing UKG Pro HCM.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience testing one or more UKG Pro modules, such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, or Recruiting.
• Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to create test cases, execute test scripts, document defects, and report test results.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with UKG Pro implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or migrations.
• Knowledge of UKG Pro APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with SQL queries and database validation.
• Familiarity with data migration and reconciliation testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and standard Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
• Relevant UKG product training or certifications.
