Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Ukrainian Interpreter. The Ukrainian Interpreter will provide real-time, accurate interpreting between Ukrainian and English (and other languages where applicable) for phone and virtual call center interactions, including customer service, medical, and legal contexts as assigned. Daily responsibilities include listening carefully to callers, conveying messages faithfully without additions or omissions, and maintaining confidentiality and neutrality. The interpreter will follow client-specific protocols, adhere to quality and compliance standards, and document session details as required. The role also involves participating in periodic training, attending virtual team meetings, and collaborating with supervisors to improve service quality and consistency.
Qualifications

• Strong language proficiency: advanced fluency in Ukrainian and English, with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• Interpretation skills: experience with consecutive or simultaneous interpreting, accurate message transfer, and terminology management in customer service, medical, or legal settings.
• Communication and interpersonal abilities: clear, professional phone etiquette, active listening, and the ability to remain calm and impartial during sensitive or complex calls.
• Technical readiness: reliable high-speed internet, suitable headset, and comfort working with call center software, virtual communication tools, and online reference resources.
• Professionalism: strong sense of confidentiality, ethics, and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to follow established protocols and client guidelines.
• Organizational skills: ability to manage schedules, handle back-to-back calls, and maintain accurate records or notes when required.
• Education and experience: prior interpreting experience in a remote or call center environment is preferred; formal training in interpretation, linguistics, or related fields is an advantage.
• Availability and flexibility: willingness to work full-time shifts, including evenings or weekends based on business needs, and to participate in ongoing training and performance reviews.
