Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Ukrainian to English Interpreter. In this position, the interpreter provides accurate, real-time interpretation during virtual calls, meetings, and conferences for clients in various sectors, including medical, legal, and business. Daily responsibilities include listening carefully to Ukrainian speakers, conveying their messages clearly and faithfully in English, and maintaining neutrality, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity. The interpreter may also assist with basic translation of short written materials, clarify terminology, and follow established call center procedures and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with supervisors and team members, participating in training sessions, and using digital tools and communication platforms to ensure efficient service delivery.
Qualifications

• Strong Ukrainian and English language proficiency, with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated interpreting skills, including consecutive interpretation, accurate meaning transfer, and cultural sensitivity.
• Familiarity with medical or legal terminology and the ability to quickly learn and apply domain-specific vocabulary.
• Comfort with remote work tools, call center platforms, and basic computer literacy.
• Attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Effective time management, reliability, and the ability to handle a steady volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in interpreting, translation, or customer support is preferred.
• Relevant certification or training in interpretation or linguistics is an advantage.
