With over 8 years of expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that drive our business operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of MultiValue environments and a passion for optimizing system performance.

Minimum Experience-8 Years

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain applications, programs, and subroutines in Universe / UniData environments.
• Design and implement integrations between internal applications and external systems.
• Develop interfaces using JSON, XML, EDI, REST APIs, and web services.
• Work on data transformation, mapping, validation, and exchange between different systems.
• Develop and maintain batch processing and automated integration workflows.
• Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and production issues.
• Write Universe queries, SELECT statements, and system commands for data analysis and validation.
• Prepare technical documentation for interfaces, data mappings, and integration processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams and external partners for integration development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance across integrated systems.
• Required Technical Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience with Rocket U2 Universe / UniData or similar MultiValue databases.
• Good experience with Pick / MultiValue environments.
• Strong programming experience in Universe BASIC / UniBasic.
• Experience with SB+ / SB+ applications.
• Strong understanding of JSON and XML.
• Hands-on experience with EDI, B2B integrations, and REST APIs.
• Experience with data transformation, mapping, and interface development.
• Experience writing programs, subroutines, test wrappers, SELECT queries, and system commands.
• Good understanding of batch processing and production support.
• IRIS BASIC experience is an added advantage.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with MultiValue application modernization or migration.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Exposure to middleware and enterprise integration platforms.
