Role Description The Unit Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Makati, with a mix of in-office and virtual meetings and activities. This role is responsible for recruiting, leading and supervising a team of financial advisors, including setting performance goals, monitoring results, and providing coaching and mentorship. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing sales and marketing activities, managing client relationships, and ensuring that team members deliver appropriate financial and insurance solutions. The Unit Manager will conduct regular training sessions, oversee compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and prepare reports on unit performance. This role also involves coordinating with other departments to support business initiatives and contributing to the growth and stability of the unit.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising, coaching, or mentoring sales or service teams.
  • Sales, business development, and customer relationship management skills, ideally within insurance, financial services, or related industries.
  • Planning, organizational, and time management skills to handle multiple initiatives and meet targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage clients and motivate team members.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret performance metrics and improve unit results.
  • Knowledge of basic financial concepts and insurance products; familiarity with regulatory requirements is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and digital tools; openness to using remote collaboration platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
