Be the Bridge Between Design and Construction
Some professionals design projects. Others build them.
As a Construction Administrator, you'll make sure the vision becomes reality.
We're partnering with a highly respected Architecture & Engineering firm that's shaping some of the Southeast's most impactful healthcare, education, senior living, government, and community-focused facilities. From groundbreaking to ribbon cutting, you'll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and with the highest level of quality.
If you enjoy being in the field, solving problems in real time, collaborating with contractors and project teams, and seeing projects come to life, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
๐ Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Work on meaningful projects that serve communities and improve lives
Join an established, growing A&E firm with a strong reputation throughout the Southeast
Serve in a highly visible role with direct influence on project success
Partner with architects, engineers, owners, and contractors on complex projects
Enjoy long-term career growth within a collaborative, people-focused culture
Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and leadership support
Diverse project portfolio spanning healthcare, education, senior living, civic, and government facilities
What You'll Do
As a key member of the project delivery team, you'll help ensure construction aligns with the design intent while serving as a trusted advisor to project stakeholders throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction administration efforts across multiple architectural and engineering projects.
- Review and process RFIs, ASIs, CCDs, proposal requests, change orders, shop drawings, and construction submittals.
- Interpret construction documents, specifications, contracts, and AIA agreements.
- Conduct field visits and site observations to monitor project progress and verify compliance with design intent.
- Track project documentation, correspondence, and construction activities through project completion.
- Collaborate closely with owners, contractors, consultants, architects, and engineers to resolve issues and keep projects moving forward.
- Review contractor pay applications and assist with project closeout activities.
- Participate in construction meetings and provide guidance throughout all phases of construction.
- Help bridge communication between design teams and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
What We're Looking For

- Degree or certification in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or a related field.
- Experience in Construction Administration within an Architecture or Engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or civic construction projects.
- Working knowledge of AIA contract documents and construction administration processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally to project sites throughout the Charlotte region.
Preferred Qualifications
CCCA (Certified Construction Contract Administrator) Certification
Experience with Bluebeam, Newforma, or similar project management platforms
Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build relationships with contractors, owners, and project teams

Enjoy balancing time between the office and active construction sites
Are proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented
Communicate effectively with contractors, architects, engineers, and clients
Can manage multiple projects and priorities without losing attention to detail
Take pride in helping deliver exceptional projects from start to finish
Build Projects That Matter
This isn't a back-office construction administration role.
You'll be a visible and valued member of the project team, working directly with decision-makers and helping deliver facilities that support healthcare, education, senior living, and communities throughout the region.
