About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Client Lead to support one of Keystone Bookkeepers’ clients. This role combines hands-on bookkeeping expertise with client leadership and team management. You will oversee financial operations, lead a team of bookkeepers, and ensure the delivery of accurate, real-time financial insights using modern cloud-based tools. This is a role for someone who enjoys both precision work and leadership responsibility. What Your Day to Day Will Look Like Complete weekly, monthly, and other recurring tasks as for assigned clients Review and remit weekly payments for clients Assist with new client onboarding Assist junior bookkeepers with questions and training as needed Review month-end work for junior bookkeepers Help maintain and improve Karbon workflows for your clients Communicate directly with clients on a weekly basis Other ad-hoc duties as required What You Need to Succeed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) 3+ years of US full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, spreadsheets, and cloud-based tools Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a client-first mindset Experience working in a remote/virtual environment Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ability to manage priorities effectively Friendly, professional demeanor when working with both clients and internal teams Work Commitment Requirement To ensure focus, consistency, and high-quality service for our clients, we are looking for team members who can commit exclusively to Keystone Bookkeepers during their engagement with us.
