The Treasury team is part of Circana’s global Finance and Strategy organization and manages a broad range of operational and strategic activities, including cash management, banking, liquidity planning, capital structure, and financial risk management. The team supports approximately 25 countries and partners closely with Controllership, Tax, Legal, and Financial Planning & Analysis.

As the US Treasury Operations Manager, you will lead daily US cash management and liquidity activities, including cash positioning, forecasting, banking administration, intercompany funding, and operational controls. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring reliable daily execution while strengthening processes, controls, visibility, and scalability.

In partnership with the Assistant Treasurer and OUS Treasury Operations Manager, you will support coordinated global liquidity management, recommend operational improvements, and help advance Circana’s broader Treasury capabilities.

This role reports to the Assistant Treasurer and manages one Treasury Analyst.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own daily US cash positioning and liquidity management, ensuring adequate funding for payroll, payments, and other business obligations.
  • Coordinate with the OUS Treasury Operations Manager to support global cash visibility, coverage, and funding needs.
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly cash forecasting, improving accuracy and decision-making through clear assumptions and variance analysis.
  • Manage cash deployment and short-term investment activity to optimize the use of available cash.
  • Oversee Treasury payment execution and partner with Controllership to resolve bank reconciliation items, ensuring accurate cash visibility and a strong control environment.
  • Manage US bank account structures, including account openings and closures, authorized signers, user access, entitlements, and security controls.
  • Support intercompany funding, loan administration, and cash repatriation activities in partnership with Tax, Legal, and Controllership.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of intercompany loans, interest calculations, and supporting documentation in accordance with internal policies.
  • Deliver clear reporting and actionable insights on liquidity, cash trends, forecast variances, and potential risks.
  • Evaluate Treasury-related risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies to Treasury leadership.
  • Lead process, control, and system improvements that strengthen automation, visibility, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Maintain Treasury procedures and operational control frameworks.
  • Lead and develop the Treasury Analyst by setting priorities, overseeing execution, and supporting professional growth.
  • Partner across Treasury, Controllership, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and other Finance teams to resolve issues and advance cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive, hands-on Treasury Operations experience, including cash positioning, liquidity management, cash forecasting, and banking administration.
  • Strong understanding of corporate cash management, banking structures, cash deployment, intercompany funding, and Treasury controls.
  • Experience managing bank accounts, authorized signers, user access, entitlements, and online banking security.
  • Experience with treasury management systems and ERP platforms. Kyriba and NetSuite experience are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to strengthen processes and controls while improving efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
  • Experience analyzing cash forecasts, variances, liquidity trends, and financial risks.
  • Strong judgment and ability to distinguish routine operational activity from issues requiring escalation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Controllership, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and global Finance teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop others through direct management, mentoring, or significant team leadership.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, Treasury improvements, or systems initiatives.
  • Multinational Treasury or global operations exposure is preferred.
