User Experience Researcher (bilingual, up to 11M JPY, hybrid)

Position Description

You will serve as the second dedicated researcher on a growing design team, giving you the opportunity to help build the core UX research function from the ground up. You will own generative and evaluative research initiatives that directly inform product direction across in-car systems and mobile applications. Working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, you will be responsible for translating complex user insights into actionable strategies. Your scope will include evaluating both digital and hardware-based experiences, influencing product roadmaps, and advocating for the user perspective throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Ideal Candidate

• 4+ years of hands-on UX research experience in modern design or product organizations

• Strong track record of leading research initiatives and independently managing qualitative and quantitative methods

• Experience working in agile environments and translating insights into clear narratives for cross-functional teams

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese to collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders
