Why You Should Join Us

Plaud is building the next generation intelligence infrastructure and interfaces to capture, extract, and utilize intelligence from what people say, hear, see, and think.

  • Plaud is a bootstrapped, skyrocketing, profitable company with a $300M revenue run rate achieved in just three years.

  • Define the next-gen paradigm for human-AI interaction.

  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge AI for Pro tools and play a direct role in our global expansion.

  • Work with passionate teammates who value innovation, collaboration, and customer success.

  • Grow your career in a culture that champions continuous learning and fast career development.

  • Market-competitive compensation, global exposure, and a vibrant, creativity-fueled work atmosphere.

What you will do

  • Own the B2B research agenda end-to-end: design and run interview-heavy studies with enterprise buyers, IT administrators, and shared-domain users to surface non-conversion blockers, admin reactions to the 4.0 Credit system, and feature requirements (collaboration, integrations) that justify enterprise adoption — then translate findings directly into prioritized product requirements for the PM team.

  • Build and sustain a dedicated B2B research panel: source, recruit, and maintain an ongoing network of enterprise decision-makers and IT admins to support a continuous, low-friction research cadence rather than one-off studies.

  • Establish the monthly Insights Cadence: set the research calendar based on the highest-priority product and growth questions across B2B and consumer monetization; deliver structured, decision-ready reports to PM, Growth, and leadership stakeholders on a recurring basis — benchmarking methodology and output quality against research practices at leading SaaS companies (e.g. Figma, Notion, Atlassian); identifying gaps and drive continuous improvements in user research.

  • Partner with the Growth and Monetization team on consumer research: design and execute pricing and willingness-to-pay studies, identify friction points in the consumer-to-team upgrade funnel, and provide the qualitative context that backend data alone cannot supply.

  • Use AI to accelerate synthesis and scale output: apply LLMs, automated tagging, and scripting to compress the time from raw data to insight — freeing capacity for higher-judgment work like moderation, cross-functional alignment, and strategic framing.

Skills, qualifications and experience we look for

  • 3-5 years of mixed-methods user research experience with at least 3 years dedicated to B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or productivity tools; must have independently owned studies from recruitment through synthesis to stakeholder delivery — not supported execution.

  • Proven B2B panel development: demonstrated track record of sourcing and maintaining an ongoing research network of enterprise buyers, IT administrators, or technical decision-makers (not one-off participant recruitment).

  • Deep qualitative expertise in interview-heavy methods: contextual inquiry, field research, executive moderation, and usability testing; must be capable of moderating C-suite or IT-admin sessions without a script dependency.

  • Monetization and pricing research experience: has designed and run willingness-to-pay or pricing sensitivity studies that produced actionable recommendations, not just descriptive findings.

  • Strategic cross-functional partnership: demonstrated shift from order-taking researcher to embedded partner — has translated ambiguous buyer feedback into product requirements or journey maps that PMs acted on.

Preferred:

  • B2B SaaS & Collaboration Domain: Background working on complex B2B SaaS products, specifically within collaboration platforms, enterprise solutions, AI-powered productivity tools, or meeting intelligence ecosystems.

  • Enterprise Panel Building & Ops: Proven ability to source, build, and manage dedicated research panels of enterprise customers, IT administrators, and B2B buyers, paired with experience scaling centralized research repositories (e.g., Dovetail, Notion) as cross-functional assets.

  • GTM & Funnel Optimization: Experience supporting B2C-to-B2B or consumer-to-team product expansions, including conducting research that directly informs enterprise go-to-market (GTM) strategies, monetization efforts, and holistic funnel optimization.
