Why Join ORC?

The Right Work. The Right People. The Right Culture.

Right of Way is where infrastructure meets innovation—shaping roads, utilities, and communities for the future. At ORC, we offer more than a job—we offer purpose, stability, and growth. You’ll join a team that values collaboration, workplace flexibility, and long-term opportunity.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare, review, and quality-check right of way documents — easements, agreements, and related real estate instruments — for utility projects
  • Maintain accurate project files, databases, and document tracking systems
  • Track documents from draft through recording and keep project teams informed of status
  • Support Agents and the Project Manager with document requests and reporting
  • Perform general administrative tasks that keep projects moving
  • Place/embed project specific documents, images and pins into project map/KMZ
We’re Looking for Someone Who
  • Is organized, analytical, and detail-oriented — accuracy is the heart of this role
  • Works efficiently under tight deadlines and keeps multiple priorities moving
  • Communicates clearly and professionally — in writing, on the phone, and face to face
  • Brings a strong service mindset to every team and client interaction
  • Picks up new systems and software quickly
  • Is eager to learn and grow in the right of way profession
Minimum Requirements
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite — specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems
  • Valid driver’s license
Bonus Points: If you have experience as an office administrator, paralegal, court/document clerk, real estate or equivalent profession

Where You Fit
This is an entry-level training role — our front door into the profession — and no prior industry experience is required. The pay range for this posting is $18 - $20/hr, and your offer will reflect your related experience, education, and what you demonstrate throughout the interview process.

As you complete ORC’s training program and build experience in the field, you’ll be positioned to grow into a Utilities Document Specialist role.

Relocation and per diem are not provided.

What we Offer
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match, plus disability coverage
  • Paid time off, sick time, and paid holidays
  • Tuition reimbursement and paid professional development
  • ClassPass and Breethe memberships
  • Recognition programs and real room to grow

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information via phone, email, and virtual meeting platforms.
