UX Writer (FR Native), Long-Term (Payroll or Freelance)
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite + 3 days home office)

About our role:
As a UX Writer, you help shape intuitive, consistent, and user-focused content across web and mobile digital products. You write microcopy that makes interactions effortless: buttons, titles, tooltips, onboarding screens, transactional messages, confirmations, warnings, error states, and everything in between.
Your role:
- Bring clarity to the experience.
- Ensure consistency in tone, structure, and terminology.
- Make complex processes simple.
- Craft copy that works for everyone accessible, inclusive, and aligned with UX best practices.
You will also contribute to the evolution of UX writing guidelines and content standards across teams, ensuring coherent communication throughout the entire ecosystem.
You will:
- Write and refine UX copy through all stages of the development lifecycle (ideation → refinement → delivery).
- Craft UI microcopy (including transactional copy, error messages, instructions, and system messages).
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, concept designers, researchers, product owners, and developers.
- Iterate on copy based on insights from user tests and feedback loops.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all your writing.
- Rephrase and adapt copy written in Dutch into native-quality French.
- Update and maintain the central UX content database.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of all copy into Figma designs and prototypes.
Language Requirements
- French: Native
- Dutch: Fluent or Strong comprehension (B2)
- English: Fluent
Experience & Knowledge
Mandatory
- At least 5 years of experience as a UX Writer (web + mobile apps).
- Strong portfolio showcasing transactional, concise, and user-centered UX copy.
- Solid understanding of UX & UI fundamentals and mobile-first principles.
- Ability to understand end-to-end customer journeys and collaborate with conceptual thinkers.
- Experience working closely with design teams and using Figma.
Preferred
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Experience in a corporate setting.

- Collaborative mindset: comfortable aligning multiple stakeholders and supporting fellow UX writers.
- Able to explain, defend, and iterate on UX copy with user and stakeholder feedback in mind.
