Job Title: UX Designer

North Cloud Partners is what happens when a bunch of people quit McKinsey and decide that work/life balance is more important than billable hours. We are pre-launch at this time, and need to staff up, so we can actually launch. We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our team and help us build intuitive and engaging products.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in the full UX design process, however, our current need is largely production work. We need additional hands on some of our projects to simply do the work of converting rough ideas into a clickable prototype in Figma, then updating and keeping the prototype current. We work for Fortune 100 clients and so we expect really tidy deliverables. Priority will be given to those who took the time to read this JD, and sent a LinkedIn connection request to my colleague Jackson. We understand tech work is hard to find right now, so we want to give attention to those who gave us attention.

Figma Skills…

• General attention to detail and not being too sloppy with groups and frames

• Using components from a library

• Auto-layout, enough to get by

• Prototyping, nothing to complex, but we do make large “click throughs” for our clients

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer (or similar role) with a portfolio of some type that shows some of your recent work.

Education: We do not care, at all.

Soft skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present and explain design decisions, organized and clean problem solving, attention to detail, etc.

Location: We focus on performance, not presence. If you live in Colorado or northern California, that would be convenient, but not required.
