Your mission: As our UX Designer, you’ll design intuitive and user-friendly experiences for Nomentia’s solutions, working closely with Product Management and Development from early specifications all the way to implementation and iteration.

Work setup: Flexible hybrid work in Tampere, with opportunities for in-person collaboration with the team.

Collaboration: You’ll work closely with Product Management and Development, turning ideas and business needs into specifications, designs, and ultimately working product experiences.

Role details

As UX Designer, you will:

• Design clear, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences for Nomentia’s products and solutions.
• Work closely with Product Management to translate customer needs, business requirements, and product ideas into specifications and concrete UX solutions.
• Help develop and maintain consistent UX patterns and design principles across our products.
• Participate in iterative design and implementation, sparring with developers as solutions move from concept into the actual product.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs and iterate them based on feedback and technical implementation.
• Use AI tools such as Claude as part of your everyday work to explore ideas, prototype solutions, support implementation, and speed up the design and development cycle.
• Bring curiosity and a continuous learning mindset to how we design and build software.

What we’re looking for

UX and product design experience

• Some relevant professional experience in UX, product design, or a similar role. You don’t need to be a highly senior designer, but we expect you to have already worked on real digital products or services.
• Experience with Figma for creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs.
• Experience working with developers and understanding how designs move from an idea into implementation.
• Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for using AI tools such as Claude hands-on across UX design, prototyping and implementation, and for exploring new ways of working collaboratively with developers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain and discuss design decisions with different stakeholders.
• Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to turn requirements into practical product experiences through an iterative approach.
• Relevant education in UX or design, with a portfolio that highlights your design skills.
• Fluency in English; Finnish is a strong advantage.

Practical information

• Salary: Salary starting from € 3700 per month. The final salary will depend on experience, skills and role fit. Up to 10% annual bonus at target level (if company-wide goals are met).
• Location: Tampere, Finland.
• Work setup: Flexible hybrid work with opportunities for in-person collaboration with the team.
