We are hiring a UX Designer who loves turning real user problems into clear, safe and well-tested designs, and who wants to shape how healthcare professionals work with AI every day.
Our Mission
Attendi has already built a strong user base through speech-to-text integrations with electronic health record (EHR) vendors, used by over 300 care organisations in elderly and disability care. With the Attendi App (web and mobile), we are building a one-stop solution for AI-driven administration in healthcare: structured documentation, conversation summaries, voice-driven workflows and AI assistance, anytime, anywhere.
Design is central to this vision. Our users are care professionals working with clients, not behind a desk. Every flow we build needs to be simple, fast and safe to use. And because the Attendi App is being certified as a medical device (MDR), we don’t just design what feels intuitive, we prove that users understand and use it as intended.
This isn’t about making it as easy as possible to order a pizza. It’s about how a care professional can receive AI-generated advice safely, and make sure they check what matters before they rely on it.
Your Role
As a UX Designer at Attendi, you will:
Translate user research into user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity designs for the Attendi App.
Work closely with our UX researcher, who uncovers user needs in the field, and turn those insights into the right solution.
Visit care organisations to test your designs with healthcare professionals: does this solution fit the problem we observed?
Design for safety in an AI product: identify where users could misuse or over-trust AI output, and design features that mitigate that risk.
Run usability studies as part of our MDR certification, through simulations, observation or A/B tests, and document what you tested and learned.
Work in two lanes: fast shipping of new features, and careful, well-documented work on our medical device track.
Work closely with the product owner, developers and our compliance team to get designs into production.
Help mature our design system in Figma.
You might be a good fit if you hit most or all of the following:
2-4 years of experience as a UX or product designer in a product team, working in sprints.
Experience with B2B SaaS products.
You start with questions, not solutions: who is the user, what is their context, what problem are we really solving?
You balance a startup pace with taking a step back to research and test before going to production.
Strong Figma skills.
Native Dutch speaker. You’ll talk with healthcare professionals a lot, in their own language.
A portfolio that shows your thinking: the user, the problem, how you approached it and how you measured whether it worked.
Strong candidates may also
Have worked on AI products.
Have experience in healthcare, or another regulated environment such as legaltech, regtech or govtech.
Have worked on a CE-certified or medical device product, and know what that means for usability testing.
Have experience running usability studies or user interviews.
Enjoy working with a team for the long run and growing together with a scale-up.
What we offer
Salary between €4,000 and €4,500 per month, plus holiday allowance.
Ideally 40 hours per week.
Travel and lunch allowance.
Home office budget.
Lease bike.
Training budget of €1,500 per year.

Pension contribution of 10% and roughly 7% paid by Attendi.
Our culture: People-oriented, curious, and proactive
At Attendi, you’ll work in a small, ambitious team that learns and builds together. We are empathetic, take initiative, dare to experiment, and stand by our work. Making mistakes is okay as long as you learn from them.
