UX/UI Specialist (m/f/x)

For our Partner delivering a project for a European Union organization operating in the defence sector, we are looking for a UX/UI Specialist.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Elicits needs, analyses requirements
• Transfers business, users and technical needs into GUI design
• Develop GUI standards and related polices
• Test software against compliancy with the GUI standards
• Designs usability of the application
• Balance usability of GUI with limitation of the technology
• Implements graphical mock-ups and prototypes of the GUI
• Implements GUI
• Designs graphical layer of project documentation, presentation and marketing materials
• Cooperates with developers - to clarify technology limitations and GUI requirements

Profile requierements

• Minimum level of education: level 6 - ICT relevant degree is not mandatory
• Minimum IT relevant professional experience (years) - 8
• Minimum Project experience relevant to the profile or at similar position (years) - 5

Knowledge and skills

• Has designed GUI for at least 3 RIA systems or desktop thick clients or mobile applications (1 time, in the case of the basic profile)
• Expert in graphical design for software applications
• Proficient in gathering and analysis UX requirements.
• Proficient in developing graphical mock-ups and active prototypes of user interface of the software application
• Expert in analysis and design of application usability and user experience
• Understands software development technologies and their limitations
• Expert in developing GUI components of software systems in HTML5 technologies
• Presents excellent communication skills
• Holds ability to document effectively
• Creativity
• Good knowledge of user interface ergonomics
• Knowledge of design and graphical tools (Balsamiq/InVision/UXPin/Framer.js or other)

Specific requirements

• Good knowledge of Sharepoint and Sharepoint platform-specific tools
• Experienced in preparation of mockups and graphical interfaces
• Exceptional collaborative skills
• Versatility in technologies and platforms

Contract Details:

• Contract type: B2B
• Rate: 370-400 EUR/MD
• Work model: Remote with occasional visits in Warsaw office
