UY Jr Accountant

We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to build hands-on experience across bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain and update the general ledger Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation Assist in preparing financial statements and reports Support budget preparation and variance analysis Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements Assist with tax filings and audits as needed Maintain organized financial records and documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships welcome) Working knowledge of GAAP (or relevant accounting standards) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks , SAP, NetSuite) a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills
