Job Description
Visa’s Internship Program provides an immersive, 12-month journey where you’ll work on impactful projects that drive Visa’s mission forward. As a Visa intern, you’ll build valuable connections across the organization, sharpen your communication and business acumen, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment.
Throughout the program, you’ll have exclusive access to interactive workshops and learning sessions designed to deepen your expertise, expand your industry knowledge, and elevate your professional skillset. You won’t just be learning, you’ll be contributing, collaborating, and innovating every step of the way.
The experience culminates in an exciting final presentation, where you’ll showcase your project achievements, share key insights, and present your recommendations to Visa’s leaders and stakeholders. Visa Value Added Services (VAS) is a strategic portfolio of products and platforms that helps financial institutions, merchants, fintechs, and payment ecosystem partners accelerate growth, enhance customer experiences, optimize business performance, and strengthen fraud prevention and security. Leveraging Visa’s global network, data assets, technology, and deep payments expertise, VAS delivers innovative solutions across issuing, acceptance, risk and identity, advisory services, and emerging digital capabilities. As a VAS Sales Intern, you will contribute to initiatives that showcase Visa’s solutions, support operational improvement, and strengthen client engagement. You will have the opportunity to develop new skills, gain exposure to technical and business functions, and partner with teams on impactful projects.
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Some job duties and projects could include, but are not limited to:
- Document and communicate improvements in VAS offerings to internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze and identify gaps in billing processes and support technical and process enhancements
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations for VAS solutions
- Compile and present insights based on monthly analyses to inform business decisions

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Basic understanding of project management principles and practices
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, with an expected graduation between November 2027 and March 2028
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Curiosity and interest in technology, process improvements, and client engagement
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and comfort working in a collaborative environment
Additional information
Work Authorization: Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. Future sponsorship will not be considered.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
