Job Title : Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst Target Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: FTC – 18 months, Part Time, Full Time, Job Share option available Salary Range: Circa £70,000 Location: Hybrid, Eastleigh – once a week Closing Date for applications: Monday 7th September Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst: We are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst to support the financial governance of a large-scale integration programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in tracking costs, benefits and programme performance while providing insightful analysis to support business decision-making. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, particularly Finance and the Integration Management Office (IMO), you will ensure that financial information is accurate, meaningful and aligned to strategic objectives. Your work will help leaders understand programme performance, realise planned benefits and identify opportunities to maximise value delivery. Reporting to the Value Capture & Cost Manager, you will support the financial governance of the integration programme through accurate cost tracking, benefits realisation monitoring, forecasting and reporting. You will maintain key financial models, challenge assumptions where appropriate and provide high-quality analysis and insight that supports effective decision-making across the programme. Main Responsibilities as Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst: Produce and consolidate programme performance reporting for governance forums, Steering Committees and Board-level stakeholders. Maintain the integration cost tracker, benefit realisation tracker and supporting financial models, ensuring data integrity and alignment to agreed baselines. Monitor synergy and benefit delivery against approved targets, providing clear reporting on performance, risks and opportunities Prepare regular reporting packs covering Cost to Achieve (CtA), synergy delivery, forecast performance and progress against plan. Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities, ensuring Finance teams have visibility of programme developments and associated impacts. Review, challenge and validate updated synergy submissions from functional workstreams to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with agreed assumptions. Partner with Finance, the Integration Management Office (IMO) and business stakeholders to maintain robust financial governance, reporting standards and methodologies. Identify, assess and track financial risks and opportunities across the programme, escalating issues and recommending corrective actions where required. Deliver ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modelling and insight to support strategic decision-making and value capture initiatives Manage competing priorities effectively, delivering accurate and high-quality outputs within agreed timescales. Skills and experience you need as Value Capture & Cost Senior Analyst: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and analysis of large datasets. Essential accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting and forecasting. Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail. Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Able to translate financial data into clear and meaningful business insights. Strategic thinker who can balance detailed analysis with a broader commercial perspective. Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders. Strong communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated, organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
