About You
In this professional role, you will support accurate and timely indirect tax reporting while putting mutual respect and human dignity at the centre of how you work. You will collaborate with Financial Controllers, tax colleagues, business partners, and external advisors across a multinational organisation.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare VAT returns, Intrastat declarations, EC Sales Lists, and other indirect tax reports
- Provide VAT guidance to finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Support indirect tax audits, working with external tax advisors and Financial Controllers
- Coordinate reconciliations and indirect tax reporting with external service providers
- Improve reporting processes, schedules, and tools
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Tax, Internal Controls, and the wider business to support reporting integrity and local and regional business plans
Required qualifications:
- University degree or professional qualification, preferably in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or a related field
- Three to five years of VAT reporting experience in a multinational company
- Strong understanding of indirect tax accounting and reporting
- Fluent written and spoken English, with experience using a major ERP system, preferably SAP
Preferred qualifications:
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Czech, Slovak, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, or Dutch
- Knowledge of Local GAAP reporting gained in a multinational company
- Previous experience with a Big Four professional services firm
- Strong analytical, audit, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-influencing skills
