Description Snapscale is seeking an Intermediate Verification of Benefits/Insurance Verification Specialist to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in validating patient insurance benefits, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims, and providing exceptional support to both patients and healthcare providers. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of insurance processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough verification of patient insurance benefits for accuracy and completeness. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers regarding their insurance information. Process and document insurance verifications in accordance with company policies and industry standards. Resolve discrepancies in insurance information and follow up on outstanding verifications. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless workflow and timely claim submissions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and procedures to assist with inquiries. Provide training and support to junior staff members as needed. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance verification or a related field. Strong understanding of medical billing and coding practices. Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and verification software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and providers. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
