Macnica Americas is seeking a driven and technically curious Vertical MarCom Manager to own marketing communications for our Broadcast & ProAV vertical. This role sits at the intersection of media technology expertise and sharp marketing execution, and will be instrumental in growing Macnica's presence and pipeline across the broadcast, live production, and professional AV ecosystem in both North America and Europe.
Job Summary:
As the Vertical MarCom Manager for Broadcast & ProAV, you will be the voice of this vertical across all marketing channels. You will develop and execute integrated campaigns, create compelling content, and work closely with demand generation, sales, and technical teams to position Macnica's proprietary media solutions and the supplier ecosystem behind them with the right buyers. Those buyers include broadcast and media engineering teams, equipment manufacturers, systems integrators, and ProAV solution providers moving to IP-based workflows. This role supports marketing needs across both the MAI (Americas) and MAE (Europe) regions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and own the annual vertical marketing plan for Broadcast & ProAV, aligned to MAI and MAE pipeline targets and campaign calendars
Build product marketing and launch programs for Macnica's proprietary broadcast and ProAV solutions, including the MEP100 and related IP media technology, from positioning through sales enablement
Create and manage a continuous content program including technical blogs, application notes, case studies, webinar presentations, and social posts tailored to broadcast and ProAV buyers
Translate complex media technology topics (SMPTE ST 2110, IPMX, video over IP, low-latency transport, compression, and synchronization) into clear, compelling messaging for both engineering and business audiences
Brief and manage external agencies and content partners on vertical-specific deliverables; review and approve all Broadcast & ProAV assets
Partner with the Demand Generation & Automation team to develop campaign briefs, target audience definitions, and messaging frameworks that feed into Marketo nurture tracks
Lead trade show and event marketing for key industry events (e.g. NAB Show, IBC, InfoComm, ISE); develop booth themes, demo narratives, and promotional materials
Develop customer and deployment stories with broadcasters, production companies, OEMs, and integrators, coordinating approvals with customers and partners
Collaborate with supplier and technology partners to develop co-branded content and joint go-to-market materials
Maintain and evolve Broadcast & ProAV landing pages on the Macnica Americas website in coordination with the Website & Digital Experience Lead
Support ABM campaigns targeting high-value broadcast, media, and ProAV accounts in coordination with Sales leads across North America and Europe
Track vertical content performance and contribute monthly insights to the marketing team's reporting cadence
Serve as subject matter marketing expert for the vertical: attend supplier briefings, FAE sessions, standards body updates, and industry events to maintain a high level of technical fluency
Required Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated experience marketing to engineering or technical audiences; broadcast engineering, live production, or ProAV integration strongly preferred
Working knowledge of IP media workflows and industry standards (e.g. SMPTE ST 2110, IPMX, NMOS, PTP), or the ability to get up to speed quickly
Strong writing and content development skills across long-form (whitepapers, case studies) and short-form (social, email, web) formats
Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (Marketo preferred) and CRM systems
Ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, FAE, product, and regional marketing teams in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel to domestic trade shows and to European industry events such as IBC and ISE (estimated 15 to 20% travel)
Education and Experience:
5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in broadcast, media technology, ProAV, electronics, or semiconductor sectors
Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, or content partners
Background in broadcast equipment, video processing, FPGA-based media solutions, or ProAV systems marketing
Existing relationships or visibility within industry organizations such as SMPTE, AIMS, or AVIXA
Experience supporting product launches for hardware or IP-based products
Experience supporting multi-regional marketing programs spanning North America and Europe
Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) tactics and tools
Experience working with semiconductor or component suppliers as marketing partners
