Description The Nova Lab is excited to announce an opening for a VFX Artist to join our innovative team. This full-time remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to cutting-edge visual effects in the thriving Information Technology industry. Located in Fairfax, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and creativity. As a VFX Artist, you will have the opportunity to create stunning visual effects for a variety of projects, helping to elevate our digital content to new heights. You will collaborate with a passionate team of creators and technologists to deliver impactful visual experiences that resonate with our audience. We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $180,000 annually and a culture that fosters creativity and innovation. Responsibilities Create high-quality visual effects for various projects Collaborate with other artists and team members to achieve project goals Develop and implement VFX techniques for animation and live-action Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas Maintain a clean and organized workflow while meeting deadlines Stay updated with industry trends and VFX tools Optimize visual effects for different platforms and devices Feedback and iterate on VFX to meet project requirements Requirements Entry-level position; relevant experience or education in VFX is a plus Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Maya) Basic understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling Strong attention to detail and creativity in design Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Portfolio showcasing previous VFX or animation work Familiarity with 3D modeling software is a plus
