Vice President – Business Solutions Consultant
Investment Property Wealth Management | Realized
The objective is to make advisors comfortable and well-supported in incorporating IPWM conversations into their ongoing relationships with all clients.
You will be the advisor’s guide to what sets Realized apart: DST portfolios built with modern portfolio theory and proprietary risk ratings rather than offering-by-offering selection, objective diligence and standardized post-trade reporting, and a team that carries the work from first conversation to closing and beyond.
• Engage advisors and their teams to understand their practice, client base and objectives, then show where Realized fits.
• Educate advisors on 1031 exchanges, real estate and real estate securities (DSTs, REITs and QOZs), and on how Realized’s approach to portfolio construction and risk quantification improves client outcomes.
• Equip advisors to identify opportunities early, for example by adding a few investment property questions to client reviews and planning conversations.
• Deliver one-on-one and group presentations, webinars and practice-management sessions.
Case support
• Qualify early-stage opportunities and help advisors frame the conversation with their clients.
• Support key client meetings alongside the advisor when appropriate.
• Hand off qualified cases to Case Management and stay engaged through closing so the advisor experience is seamless.
Practice development
• Help advisors and firms build investment property planning into how they serve clients, turning a first case into a repeatable part of their practice.
• Follow up after meetings and cases to gather feedback, identify further needs and strengthen the relationship.
Market presence
• Represent Realized at partner-firm meetings, advisor events and industry conferences.
• Clearly explain how Realized’s solution compares with other approaches advisors may encounter.
• Share market feedback, competitive intelligence and advisor needs with leadership, Marketing and the investment team.
Collaboration and discipline
• Work closely with the home-office relationship lead, Case Management, Marketing and Compliance.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of activity, pipeline and advisor engagement.
• Follow all compliance, supervisory and communications policies.
• Capital flow / equity placed
• Exchanges completed
• Repeat and follow-on investments
Supporting metrics
• Advisors educated and actively engaged
• Qualified opportunities and time from first engagement to first case
• Cases closed and equity placed
• Repeat advisors and growth within existing relationships
• Quality of the advisor experience and handoffs
• Demonstrated success developing financial advisor relationships and converting those relationships into measurable production.
• Working knowledge of 1031 exchanges and DSTs; familiarity with portfolio construction and the advisory business model.
• Understanding of broad investment themes, techniques of portfolio constructions and relevant financial planning services.
• A consultative approach: you listen first, diagnose, then recommend.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with advisors, home offices and, when appropriate, their clients.
• Self-directed, organized and comfortable in a growing company where process is still being built.
• CRM proficiency and disciplined follow-through.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
