Engineering & Asset Performance

• Drive engineering excellence and asset preservation across the hotel portfolio.

• Lead technical audits, preventive maintenance strategies and compliance reviews.

• Support General Managers and Directors of Engineering on complex technical matters.

• Promote operational reliability, risk mitigation and long-term asset value.

Construction & Project Oversight

• Provide technical leadership on developments, renovations and hotel openings.

• Review and validate engineering and construction solutions from concept to completion.

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, budget and schedule objectives are achieved.

• Identify and mitigate construction and operational risks.

Owner & Corporate Advisory

• Act as the key technical advisor to corporate leadership, owners and project teams.

• Ensure developments align with operational requirements, luxury standards and long-term maintainability.

• Support investment planning, capital expenditure strategies and portfolio value enhancement.

Sustainability & Standards

• Define and maintain corporate engineering standards and best practices.

• Drive sustainable engineering solutions, energy efficiency and innovation across the portfolio.

• Foster knowledge sharing and engineering excellence throughout the organization.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in Engineering, Construction and Technical Services within international luxury hospitality environments.

• Previous experience as Director of Engineering or in a comparable corporate technical leadership role within a luxury hotel group.

• 15+ years of progressive experience across hotel operations, capital projects, renovations and new developments.

• Strong expertise in hotel construction, openings, commissioning and asset enhancement projects.

• Proven ability to review, challenge and validate complex engineering systems, technical specifications and design solutions.

• Demonstrated experience conducting technical audits and implementing asset protection and preventive maintenance strategies.

• Established track record of partnering with Owners, Executive Leadership, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience overseeing project budgets, tender processes, capital expenditure planning, property-related costs and insurance matters.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance operational requirements, financial performance and long-term asset value.

• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills in an international environment.

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; professional engineering qualifications are an advantage.

• Fluent in English and French; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
