About MARI Group
MARI is a global events and experiences company powering world-defining live experiences. Our portfolio of premium live properties spans sports, art, and entertainment — including the Madrid and Miami Open tennis tournaments, Frieze (a leading voice in contemporary art), and Barrett-Jackson (the premium U.S. collector car auction company). MARI also includes TodayTix Group, the global e-commerce leader for cultural experiences, connecting millions of customers with the best in live entertainment.
MARI is reshaping the live events landscape — building a growing portfolio of category-defining events and brands that set the standard for what's next, across sports, entertainment, art, and lifestyle.
At MARI, you'll work alongside people who are passionate, curious, and driven — people who believe that live experiences have the power to shape culture, and who care about the work, the mission, and each other. We welcome outstanding applicants of all backgrounds and encourage everyone to apply.
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, operationally disciplined VP, FP&A to lead the planning and performance engine at MARI. This is a senior finance leadership role at the heart of MARI’s growth across sports, art and entertainment. You’ll sit within Finance, reporting to the SVP of Finance, and work closely with the corporate finance teams and the finance directors across each business unit.
As the owner of how MARI plans, forecasts and reports, you’ll set the cadence, metrics and standards that give leadership a clear, current and trusted view of performance across a diverse portfolio. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the CFO and SVP, building a deep understanding of what drives each business and turning results into clear takeaways: what is moving, what could go wrong, where the upside is, and what to do about it. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position for a builder who pairs analytical rigor with operational discipline and sound business judgment. If you’re energized by live events, culture, and sport — and you’ve led FP&A for a PE-backed or multi-portfolio business — this role was built for you.
This is a full-time role and qualified candidates must be based in New York. You’ll be part of a hybrid team that values both connection and flexibility. We’ll cover the details of our hybrid schedule during the interview process.
The base salary range for this role is $225k - $240k, and the role is bonus eligible, with total compensation of $280k - $305k. Salary is determined by market data, experience, location, and internal banding. Ranges will be discussed transparently during the interview process.

- 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including leading teams and owning a corporate or multi-business FP&A function
- Experience in PE-backed or multi-portfolio environments, reporting across businesses with different models and drivers
- A track record of designing and running planning, forecasting and reporting cadences, with measurable gains in speed, accuracy and visibility
- Strong business acumen: you understand what drives results, explain variances clearly and anticipate leadership’s questions
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, and the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable takeaways
- Executive presence: comfortable briefing CFOs and senior leaders and leading through influence across finance and business partners
- A hands-on, low-ego leader who rolls up their sleeves while building a team, with the confidence to push back
