Show job description

The VP of Enterprise Sales wins new business and grows assigned client relationships across Alacrity Solutions. This senior individual contributor role pursues opportunities across service lines and customer segments, including insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), Lloyd’s market participants, and other organizations with needs Alacrity can serve. Corporate housing and relocation may offer additional opportunities, depending on customer needs and service fit.

The successful candidate brings established relationships with relevant decision makers and a demonstrated ability to sell to targeted customers. They own the sales process from identifying a need through negotiation, implementation, and revenue growth. Working with Alacrity’s product and operating experts, they position services that address each customer’s needs and remain accountable for developing the account after an agreement is signed.

Essential functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.)

New business development

  • Build and execute pursuit plans for assigned target accounts across relevant industries and customer segments, including new clients and accounts where Alacrity has limited business or untapped growth potential.
  • Use established decision-maker relationships and targeted prospecting to earn meetings and develop qualified opportunities. Build additional relationships with business leaders, operational buyers, procurement, and vendor management appropriate to each account.
  • Understand the customer’s operations, current providers, service gaps, buying process, and timing before recommending a solution.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, including discovery, proposals, RFP responses, presentations, commercial negotiation, and contract execution, with support from the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain momentum through specific next steps, customer commitments, and clear responsibilities. Focus time and resources on opportunities with a credible path to profitable revenue.

Account ownership and growth

  • Take commercial ownership of assigned accounts and develop plans to retain and grow the business, deepen relationships, and increase the services customers use where there is a demonstrated need.
  • Identify opportunities across Alacrity’s property, contents, temporary housing, auto, TPA, call center, and subrogation services. Bring in subject matter experts to validate the need, shape the solution, and support the sale.
  • Coordinate outreach with other account owners and sellers, follow agreed account assignments, and give customers a clear commercial point of contact.
  • Stay engaged after contract signing to support onboarding, secure initial business, and grow recurring revenue. Work with Operations to address issues that could prevent adoption, retention, or expansion.

Collaboration and commercial discipline

  • Partner with divisional leaders and Operations to confirm service capability, capacity, implementation requirements, and delivery commitments before making customer promises.
  • Work with Finance and Legal on pricing, economics, and contractual terms within approved authority. Pursue growth that supports both revenue and earnings.
  • Maintain accurate account plans and opportunity records in the CRM, including decision makers, stage, value assumptions, expected timing, next actions, and risks.
  • Provide evidence-based forecasts and distinguish prospective opportunity value, signed agreements, expected service volume, and realized revenue.
  • Use client meetings, industry events, referrals, and Marketing support to advance named account objectives. Share customer feedback and competitive insights with Sales and business leadership.

Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Ability to create new business and sustain disciplined pursuit through long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Credibility with senior decision makers, strong listening skills, and the judgment to connect customer needs with practical solutions.
  • Ownership of results, persistence, and the ability to work independently while bringing the right people into a pursuit.
  • Commercial judgment in pricing, margin, sales forecasting, and the timing of revenue.
  • Clear communication, negotiation skills, collaboration, and a reputation for integrity and follow-through.

Success Metrics

  • Profitable new and expansion revenue against agreed targets, supported by actual business volume and customer adoption.
  • New strategic accounts won and developed, including progress from signed agreement to initial revenue and sustained volume.
  • Growth and retention within assigned accounts, including additional services and increased share of business.
  • Qualified pipeline creation, opportunity progression, conversion, and forecast accuracy.
  • Quality of account plans, decision-maker coverage, customer commitments, and CRM records.
