About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing smart technology platform, trusted by leading global brands to build and scale connected digital experiences. Their platform helps partners launch faster, deliver better experiences for end users, and accelerate their own digital transformation, operating across multiple markets and languages as part of a global team with hubs in Dublin and mainland Europe.
About the Role
As VP of Sales, you will lead the company’s drive to win new partners and expand its footprint across the global appliance ecosystem. This is a senior, high-visibility role, central to delivering ambitious growth goals and a long-term vision for the connected kitchen.
You will close high-impact, net-new deals with appliance manufacturers, OEMs, retailers and strategic kitchen ecosystem players. That means both fast-moving mid-tier partners, with rapid onboarding and scalable revenue, and landmark partnerships with market leaders that accelerate distribution and category adoption.
You will be a strategic leader and a hands-on dealmaker, working directly with the CEO and shaping how the business goes to market. You will build the new business function from the ground up, with the autonomy to set the processes, playbooks and structure, and the potential to hire and lead a team as it grows.
This suits entrepreneurial sales leaders who want ownership, autonomy and a lasting impact on company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver ambitious net-new revenue targets
- Identify, engage and close partnerships with global appliance brands, mid-market manufacturers, retailers and OEMs
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from first engagement through negotiation to close
- Build a focused business development plan that balances near-term revenue with long-term strategic value
- Shape commercial positioning, value proposition and engagement models alongside leadership, aligned to the product roadmap
- Build a high-quality pipeline with accurate forecasting and disciplined deal progression, working with Finance
- Partner with Solution Engineering on solution design and technical conversations to get deals over the line
- Work with Product, Delivery and Account Management for a smooth handover from close to onboarding and partner success
- Build the processes, playbooks and structure to scale the function, with the potential to hire and lead a team
- Develop trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders, working with the CEO
- Represent the company at key industry events and trade shows
What We're Looking For
- Experience in enterprise sales or strategic partnerships within B2B SaaS, IoT or platform businesses
- Proven track record of closing complex, high-value, net-new deals
- Experience with long lead time, consultative selling into large organisations with multi-stakeholder cycles; co-selling is a plus
- A strong hunter mindset: you create opportunities rather than just convert inbound demand
- Commercial sharpness, with strong negotiation and deal structuring skills
- A strategic approach to prioritising opportunities by ROI and long-term impact
- Comfortable in a high-growth environment where structure and priorities evolve
- Strong collaboration skills, able to align internal teams around winning and delivering deals
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage
- Experience in connected devices, appliance ecosystems or large consumer brands is a strong advantage, as is an interest in connected homes.
Why Apply
This is a genuine opportunity to build a new business function from the ground up at a hyper-growth, venture-backed company in a fast-developing industry. You will have real ownership, direct access to the CEO and the chance to work with leading global brands.
The package includes a competitive base salary, a meaningful variable element, share options through the company’s Employee Share Option Scheme, and flexible hybrid working.
